NEC Corporation of Malaysia Sdn Bhd (NEC Malaysia) launched its new customer experience centre yesterday that houses a variety of innovative technology, creating a modern customer experience centre.
The new centre incorporates NEC’s cutting-edge biometrics, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet-of-Things (IoT) and touchless technologies that are already deployed in other smart cities around the world.
With the new high-tech centre, partners in the public and private sector in Malaysia will be able to preview and witness smart city technologies at the new customer experience centre to fast track their own digital transformation plans.
The VIP guests in attendance were Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Mustapa Mohamed, Japan Ambassador to Malaysia Oka Hiroshi, who were given a comprehensive walkthrough of the centre along with the guests at the launching ceremony.
“Visitors to our new customer experience centre will be able to see how NEC enables digital transformation for businesses across different industries and sectors in Malaysia and around the world,” NEC Malaysia managing director Chong Kai Wooi said during the launch.
Meanwhile, Hiroshi said that he believed the new customer experience centre will serve as a catalyst for further collaboration among various stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions for a smarter city. – Oct 1, 2020
