AS of midnight on Thursday (Oct 14), the Health Ministry announced that there were 8,084 new COVID-19 cases.
Additionally, there were 88 more deaths reported yesterday, bringing the total casualty count to 27,681
However, the trend of patient recovery within the country is exceeding those of new infections. 12,456 COVID-19 patients recovered yesterday, adding to the total of 2,240,345.
Currently, out of the 101,587 active cases, 0.3% (335) of them are being treated in intensive care units (ICUs) and another 0.4% (367) of them are in need of ventilator support, while the majority of the active cases (77.2% or 78,414) are being subjected to home quarantine. – Oct 15, 2021
