1 DOC Group of Companies, through its subsidiary 1 Doc Resources Sdn Bhd, has taken the initiative to implement the National Dual Training System (SLDN) programme to contribute to the development of a skilled workforce in the country.
The SLDN programme is an industry-oriented training that combines workplace skills training and training centres involving various skill sectors.
One Doc has been accredited by the Department of Skills Development (JPK) under the Human Resources Ministry (KSM) as an Accredited SLDN Centre for the Hair and Scalp Therapy Programme (MP-064-3:2014) and Beauty Therapy Services (S960-00202:2020) on February 1, 2023.
As an Accredited SLDN Centre, One Doc has taken the initiative to improve the existing curriculum through expertise sharing and the transfer of beauty technology from Korea.
In line with this, One Doc has introduced the Pico-Pulse beauty machine, also known as ONE DOC-PICO 250, which utilises the latest technology applications.
The SLDN curriculum, based on the National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS), outlines the competencies and equipment required for the skills training.
One Doc hopes that the use of the latest technology in the ONE DOC-PICO 250 machine will provide valuable exposure to the trainees. Through the implementation of this SLDN programme, One Doc aims to produce 300 beauty therapists annually for the job market. – May 24, 2023
