PEOPLE looking to influence others need to realise that presentation is very, very important.
Recently, a PAS politician could be seen in a video complaining about pig excrement polluting the Bidor River in Perak.
According to him, the rakyat needs to vote for Abd Muhaimin Malek, the PN candidate, in order for change to occur.
This is not to forget the heroic song playing in the background, highlighting the monumental role voters need to play to ensure pigs no longer pollute the Bidor River.
But sadly, we could all agree that his point had been blunted by the fact that he and several other members were seen wading into the same “polluted” river while making those arguments.
Members of the online community, of course, wasted no time in pointing it out, with hilarious results.
Netizen @MRFAIZ07 said if people already knew or suspected that the water had pig in it, then they would have avoided making contact with the water.
He said people looking to take samples would have worn protective suits and even then, to take the samples at a distance.
Kita ni klau dh tau/syak air tu ad kandungan babi sah2 la kita cuba elak kene bdn kita klau nk ambik buat sampel pun pakai full set atau ambik dr jauh ke. Yg ni rilek je santai2 jln mcm kat wetworld

“These people were relaxing like they were in Wet World,” he added for good measure.
However, @Sudheepritch pointed out that these people were protected from the pollution, since they were part of the Green Can.
“Their strategy is so boring, it is pig, pig, pig. If it is not pig, it is alcohol. It’s just these being repeated,” said @AkramNyuu.
One netizen said this was because PAS was not good at discussing issues related to the economy or the infrastructure. Therefore they had to play with the pig issue instead.
“Hey good people, please join us in praying that Malaysia will be protected from being led by the ignorant fools of PAS,” said @hasimaro.
“PAS and foolishness do not separate,” added @amer7211.
Also, netizen @K0G579 suggested the video creator zoomed closer to the river so people could see that it was truly polluted.
However, @khalililililo claimed that the pollution was real. According to him, it happened near his village along the road to Kg Poh.
He said there was a pig farm there and the people would throw water from the pig pond outside.
“The farm should have done water treatment first before discharging it into the river. If it rains, the area will smell like pigs,” he said.
Perhaps, the pig pollution is true after all. Regardless, the video of these PAS members wading through the river sure threw some doubts into the whole affair. —Apr 25, 2025
