PBM’s “Greatest Reset” can elevate Malaysia from its GDP world ranking dip

FRET not, fellow Malaysians that our beloved motherland has fallen to the 66th spot in the 2021 gross domestic products (GDP) per capita world ranking.

There is still hope for the younger generation as such gloomy future can be reversed by Parti Bangsa Malaysia’s (PBM) national reset agenda themed The Great Reset 2030.

“The latest 2021 International Monetary Fund (IMF) data show that Malaysia is in the 66th spot while Singapore is seventh. Can any Malaysian be proud of this?” asked the nascent party’s secretary-general Nor Hizwan Ahmad.

“30 years of stagnation and political immaturity from both sides of the political divide – government and opposition – has cost us greatly. Singapore’s GDP per capita is US$62,113 while Malaysia’s is US$11,378. Malaysia and Singapore are joined by a causeway but are separated by 59 rungs.”

Doubtlessly, something is very wrong with Malaysia and PBM is there prescribe the remedy.

“Our economy is still heavily dependent on crude oil, palm oil, and other old-school sectors like manufacturing of parts and components. We can maintain these but we need new technology-based industries,” opined Nor Hizwan who was a former aide to Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin.

Nor Hizwan identified the Big-Five technological disruptions as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, genome sequencing, blockchain and clean energy.

He further rationalised that Malaysia is not a player or participant of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 but is merely a bystander.

“This country with its old-school, ethnically-divided political system, has a systemic problem characterised by worthless racial politics, leading us to 30 years of stagnation,” observed Nor Hizwan.

“While Singapore got richer, we got poorer. You can call it The Great Problem. It ends here. It ends now. The solution is The Great Reset 2030. This will save Malaysia.” – Jan 12, 2022
