PETRONAS Dagangan Bhd (PDB), via its subsidiary, Petronas Lubricants Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, has set up mobile workshops at several hospitals to provide auto services to healthcare frontliners during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period.
Taking place from Monday until April 28, the services are offered at the Sungai Buloh Hospital, University of Malaya Medical Centre and Kuala Lumpur Hospital, PDB said in a statement today.
It said the initiative was part of Petronas’ corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme to ease the burden of the frontliners in battling Covid-19, and help them stay safe on the road.
“During this period, the company will be offering freePetronas Syntium lubricant change for car engines, carried out by its appointed service provider, RessQ60Min powered by MyAssist.
“Other services such as change of battery, oil or air-conditioner filter and wipers are also made available at a chargeable rate,” it added.
PDB said it will also be extending the same services at three of its AutoExpert outlets in Sri Kembangan, Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam to cater to healthcare frontliners who are within 10km of the vicinity.
PDB managing director and CEO Azrul Osman Rani said Petronas appreciated the dedication and sacrifices made by the frontliners during these challenging times.
“We want them to be safe on the road and be assured that their cars are well taken care of while attending to patients,” he said. — April 22, 2020, Bernama
