SUPERMODEL and producer of the world’s most innovative Fashion x Sustainability projects Jessica Minh Anh will be back in Malaysia from Aug 11 to 16, 2022 after exactly a decade.
Minh Anh is famously known for transforming architectural wonders, including the Petronas Twin Towers’ Skybridge, Eiffel Tower, London’s Tower Bridge, One World Trade center and the Grand Canyon Skywalk into history-making runways.
A sustainability advocate, Minh Anh’s portfolio also includes renewable energy sites such as Hoover Dam in the US and Gemasolar power plant in Spain.
Her latest fashion phenomena include “Runway on the Runway” at JFK international airport in New York which highlighted the globally sustainable supply chain, and the “World’s first sustainable ocean catwalk” on a Liquefied Natural Gas cruise ship in Portofino, Italy in 2022.
Moreover, Minh Anh also appeared alongside the mayor of Paris, Canadian Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, Australian Olympic champion, and the Japanese astronaut among other influential figures in the Paris Agreement on Climate Change’s five-year celebration campaign.
Minh Anh’s strong bond with Malaysia was established even before she hosted the J Spring Fashion Show on Petronas Twin Towers’ Skybridge in 2012. A Petronas’ star scholar in business information system, she recently became a member of the international advisory council at University Technology PETRONAS (UTP).
She had developed an internal website for the drilling department at Petronas Carigali during her eight-month attachment and was involved in Petronas’ biggest system migration project from IBM to Microsoft before relocating to the UK.
In 2019, Minh Anh promoted renewable energy and biogreen technology on Race for Water solar-wind-hydroelectric powered vessels in Kota Kinabalu. In her unique catwalks in France and the US, she showcased Malaysian representative Emmanuel Haute Couture’s creative collections.
During this trip, Minh Anh will visit Petronas Twin Towers’ Skybridge and other potential catwalk venues in Kuala Lumpur between Aug 11 and 13 before speaking at the UTP international advisory council forum between Aug 14 and 16 on the topic of entrepreneurship, sustainability, and innovation.
