PH takes big lead in KKB election with Pang Sock Tao’s 10,787 votes

UMNO secretary general Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said on X that Pakatan Harapan (PH) has a lead of 3,783 votes over Perikatan Nasional (PN) in the Kuala Kubu Bharu elections.

He posted the following: Result of State Assembly Election N.06 Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor (unofficial)

PH – 14,000
PN – 10,131
PRM – 152
Independent– 188

Majority (PH) : 3,869

PH candidate Pang Sock Tao has taken the lead in the early stages of vote counting, according to unofficial results.

Results on several portals show PH with 6300 votes; PN trailing with 3500 votes; Independent  (80) and PRM (50).

The total number of votes counted at 7.30pm is 10,000.

Polling for the Kuala Kubu Bharu by-election has closed with a 55% voter turnout. Estimates are that 65% voted in the elections.

The contest is a four-way clash involving Pang, PN candidate Khairul Azhari Saut, PRM candidate Hafizah Zainudin and independent Nyau Ke Xin. – May 11, 2024
