A 31-YEAR-OLD man who was previously released on bail, has been rearrested for his alleged involvement in the kidnapping of six-year-old Albertine Leo Jia Hui from the Bon Odori festival in Iskandar Puteri.
Police discovered various sex toys, adult pornography, and child sexual abuse materials (CSAM) at his home in Kulai. The suspect is being investigated under Section 10 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 and Section 292 of the Penal Code.
He was initially detained on July 23, when police rescued the girl. Four other suspects were previously arrested and released. Investigations into the kidnapping’s motive are ongoing.
