ACE Market-listed electrical solutions innovator Powerwell Holdings Bhd will embark on a corporate undertaking of a different nature by participating in the Bald & Beautiful 5.0 charity event dedicated to raise both awareness and funds for cancer research.
Organised by Powerwell in collaboration with Mystarfish Foundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative aims to support those affected by cancer with advance essential research to find better treatments and a cure.
Powerwell has been actively partnering with the Mystarfish Foundation since 2017 by working together on numerous initiatives to combat cancer and support needy communities.
Slated to be held at Powerwell International Sdn Bhd’s premises in Shah Alam on Oct 4, this year’s Bald & Beautiful 5.0 event is another significant milestone in this impactful partnership.
Participants are encouraged to donate funds or shave their heads to show solidarity with cancer patients undergoing treatment.
With a target of RM100,000, the campaign has already raised RM52,000 to-date, a testimony of strong support from the community and the group’s unwavering commitment to making a difference.

Powerwell invites the public to participate in this meaningful cause by either donating to the campaign or joining the head shave/hair donation event.
Donations can be made through the Powerwell Bald & Beautiful 5.0 fundraising page. All funds raised will go directly towards cancer research and patient support programmes.
The event will also feature various activities, including cancer awareness talks, a head shave ceremony, and a solidarity walk. – Sept 23, 2024
