OPPOSITION-SLANT legal advocate ꜱᴏʟɪꜱɪᴅᴛᴏʀ (@Solisidtor) has been ridiculed big time on the X platform for airing undesirable news materials which should be deemed as purely internal Malaysian matter to US President Donald Trump who is making a comeback to power.
ꜱᴏʟɪꜱɪᴅᴛᴏʀ has apparently seized the moment to undermine the Madani government by posting four DAP-related news articles bearing somehow insulting headlines (see main image) in the commentary section of a congratulatory message by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to the 47th US president.
The said news articles were published during Trump’s tenure as the 45th US president (2017-2021).
A barrage of brickbats was hurled by Malaysians at ꜱᴏʟɪꜱɪᴅᴛᴏʀ for his sarcastic message to the 78-year-old newly-elected US president: “Hi Mr Trump, this is from a government party in Malaysia (DAP).”
“What’s your motive for doing this to your country? You stupid or a fool? I’ve never seen a citizen willing to damage his own country like this, fake lawyer,” lambasted a commenter with another labelling him as “Si Kitul” which is a Malay slang for “traitor to his nation”.
A netizen really hit the nail on the head by equating the action by ꜱᴏʟɪꜱɪᴅᴛᴏʀ as “a disservice to your own country and the people” while another blasted him for “living a life of endless slandering”.
As one commenter rightly put it, it was unbecoming for ꜱᴏʟɪꜱɪᴅᴛᴏʀ to have stooped so low “with his traitorous mindset for the sake of some cheap publicity”. “Thankfully, this is not the doing of Type C (referring to Malaysian Chinese) yet his action is truly embarrassing,” added the commenter.
Few commenters urged ꜱᴏʟɪꜱɪᴅᴛᴏʀ to do some self- reflection by not merely being a bootlicker to the opposition especially when his political idols are far from perfect.
But the trolling somehow remained intense for many Malaysians found it difficult to forgive ꜱᴏʟɪꜱɪᴅᴛᴏʀ for his immaturity.
At the end of the day, ꜱᴏʟɪꜱɪᴅᴛᴏʀ gets to taste his own medicine when some commenters ‘reported’ to Trump what his true character is. – Nov 8, 2024
