THE retail prices of petrol have fallen again for the week of April 11 to 17. RON97 and RON95 will cost five sen less at RM1.55 and RM1.25 per litre respectively. The price of diesel at the pump will see a bigger decline with a 12-sen drop to RM1.46 per litre.
The Ministry of Finance, in its weekly announcement on fuel prices, said the decline in the retail prices of petroleum products was due to the continued drop in global crude oil prices following global economic uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 outbreak. — April 10, 2020
