RON95 to cost six sen less from midnight

THE Ministry of Finance said in a statement that fuel pump prices would be lower for the week of March 28 to April 3.

Based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula, the price of RON97 petrol is reduced by six sen per litre to RM1.68 from RM1.74; RON95 petrol will cost six sen less at RM1.38 from RM1.44; and diesel will be seven sen cheaper at RM1.68 from RM1.75.

The ministry said the decline in the retail price of petroleum products is due to the continued decline in global crude oil prices following the global economic uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 outbreak. — March 27, 2020
