FUGITIVE blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) is now telling Prime Minister (PM) Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim emulate Tory MP David Warburton and step down from office.
Recall that Warburton had recently resigned from office with immediate effect following allegations of sexual harassment and cocaine use.
Arguing along the line that the system of government in Malaysia closely modelled on that of the British Westminster parliamentary system, the seemingly “Perikatan Nasional (PN) mercenary” further pointed out that even Anwar’s former UK counterpart Boris Johnson, too, has ‘graciously’ stepped down after being accused of lying to the Parliament.
“In Malaysia which uses the same parliamentary system as the UK, Anwar has also previously been alleged of fondling (meraba) his former male staff Muhammed Yusoff Rawther (a research assistant) but he denied the accusation and refused to resign,” RPK said in his latest video clip of 4:11 in length.
“Anwar has also lied not once but numerous times in Parliament … in 1992 or 1993 when he was Finance Minister, he lied with regard to the losses of RM31.5 bil incurred by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) from gambling in the forex market … back then, (Opposition leader) Lim Kit Siang has urged him to step down (which he didn’t)”.
Citing another example, RPK who is believed to be residing in Manchester further claimed that Anwar has committed another lie by accusing Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin or PN of “robbing RM600 bil”.
“Is there such a colossal amount of money in Malaysia? And he (Anwar) claimed that he has evidence and will prove that Muhyiddin has indeed stolen RM600 bil but at the end, it was proven that his allegation was merely a slander,” RPK pointed out.
“Anwar lied and Muhyiddin was charged for RM300 mil which Anwar claimed Muhyiddin has accepted when it was merely a donation to (his) party which has nothing to do with Muhyiddn … that he’s a party leader doesn’t mean that he has siphoned off the money.”
As for the Kalimah Allah issue, RPK disputed as a lie the statement by Anwar that the government has rescinded its appeal with regard to the High Court ruling over the use of the word “Allah” as the issue only involved Sarawak and that only the state is accorded the privilege of using the word “Allah” for educational purpose.
“This is another lie to the Parliament as the court ruling is not limited to Sarawak but the ruling stated that Christians nationwide are allowed to use the word “Allah” in Malay bible,” justified the founder of the ‘leftist’ Malaysia Today portal.
“There are many other examples but I don’t have the time to list down each and every of Anwar’s lies … but suffice to say that in England, if a MP fondles (meraba) his/her staff, he/she has to resign.
“(Likewise,) if a MP regardless of he being a PM or someone else lies to the Parliament, he/she must also resign … so in short, Anwar has to step down.” – June 21, 2023
