THE Community Communications Department (J-KOM) has emerged winners in three categories of the “Malaysian Twin Towers Movie Awards” bestowed by fugitive blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK).
Co-incidentally, J-KOM beat fellow finalist PKR in the three categories comprising the Best Overall Movie, Best Script and Best Production, announced the mercenary blogger with an opposition slant from his residence in Manchester, UK.
For the Best Overall Movie, J-KOM toppled PKR’s “Liberal International Scandal” with its “Sex in the Office Scandal” while for the Best Script category, J-KOM beat PKR’s “PKR Not a Liberal International Member but Only an Observer” with “Can Ejaculate Both Outside and Inside”.
As for the third category which was the Best Production award, J-KOM again created an upset with “Dr Agus No Longer Has Anything to Do with the Government, says Fahmi Fadzil” which was picked as the winner over PKR’s “We Have Already Asked Liberal International to Delete PKR’s Name from Its Website”.
For the uninitiated, J-KOM’s former director-general Datuk Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff has stood down from his post on Thursday (Nov 16) after being implicated in a controversial lewd video scandal.
Last night (Nov 17), the former political science professor from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) staged a media briefing alongside the man he was engaging in the clip – his subordinate Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani – in Bangi whereby the duo was subjected to some ‘grilling’.
Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil had earlier said that Agus has resigned and no longer had anything to do with the unity government while his position will be filled up soonest.
Agus who was appointed the head of J-KOM in February this year has pledged to serve as the purveyor of the unity government’s narrative under Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s administration.
Meanwhile, UMNO communications director Datuk Lokman Noor Adam told detractors to “just ignore this Agus issue” after netizens drew comparison between the former J-KOM director and former PKR deputy president and current Bersatu information chief Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
“Is Agus a member of a political party? The answer is no. Is Agus the deputy president or information head like Azmin? The answer is no. Does Agus have action videos like Azmin? The answer is no,” justified Lokman who is also the UMNO supreme council member.
“What is the difference between Agus and Azmin? Even if the man in the video is Agus, he only uttered obscene language but Azmin had in fact acted in a porn ‘movie’ as forensic experts in Jakarta and Birmingham, UK had confirmed that the man in the video is indeed Azmin.”
Added Lokman: “Agus continued to take responsibility and resign to protect the good name of J-KOM. As for Azmin, even though his partner Haziq (Abdullah Abdul Aziz) has confessed over the matter and that his video is more obvious, he was still unprepared to give up his post and was even ready to be upgraded to a senior minister post.” – Nov 18, 2023
