S. Africa Freedom Day: Many people lack access to basic services

As South Africa marks Freedom Day, the date of its first democratic election in 1994, many people in the country’s largest city say there is little to celebrate. Most of Johannesburg’s residents have no access to clean water, refuse removal, sanitation or electricity.
