Serba Dinamik Group making waves in the cybersecurity scene

SERBA Dinamik Group Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd, is making significant impact in the world of cybersecurity through its convergence digital platform known as E-Security and Privacy Channel (ESPC).

The established integrated engineering solutions provider’s foray into the cybersecurity scene is further enhanced by its ability to provide end-to-end solutions for its customers.

This is accentuated by its global footprint in 26 countries that focuses on human needs as well as the supply and demand forces of technology with training and education packaged together. And it was all made possible through its ESPC digital platform.

The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has increased the usage of internet around the world as people become restrained in their movements while the internet becomes the prime medium to communicate.

Serba Dinamik’s group CEO Datuk Dr Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah highlighted a spike in cybersecurity breaches given the usage of Internet has risen during the pandemic.

The cybersecurity industry in Malaysia and the Southeast Asian region during the post COVID-19 environment is projected to grow from US$217.9 bil in 2021 to US$45.4 bil by 2026, recording a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.7% from 2021 to 2026.

Such growth can be attributed to an increasing awareness and rising investments in cybersecurity infrastructure across global organisations operating across verticals. Malaysia alone is estimated to see growth in excess of US$5 bil 2026 with ASEAN countries posting US$50 bil or more in spending by 2026.

Addressing cybercrimes

As it is, Serba Dinamik Group is working with over 30 strategic partners locally and globally on many unique cybersecurity products. This is where the ESPC platform serves its purpose by providing end-to-end services for matters pertaining to cybersecurity and privacy domains.

Under ESPC, the focus is not limited to the provision of technical solutions alongside strategic partners but also encompasses cybersecurity education and professional training, community services, along with research and development (R&D), among others.

What is more unique about ESPC is its focus to solving human issues in cybersecurity and privacy as a one-stop centre to technical solutions, cyber-crimes prevention efforts or community engagements and enterprise needs.

ESPC is thus far the only cybersecurity-based business model in Malaysia and the global arena that combines online media and broadcasting, cybersecurity technology services, education and training as well as consulting and community services under one converging umbrella.

Cybercrimes have become rampant in recent times with police statistics pointing to Malaysian companies having suffered astronomical losses of around RM2.23 bil since 2017 from cybersecurity breaches.

“Having created a reputation of high-quality delivery, the potential customers of Serba Dinamik Group’s cybersecurity services can be assured that they will receive the same service quality,” assured Abdul Karim.
