Eleven out of 13 members of Seventeen came to Malaysia to promote the Harakeke line from the Saem.
A South Korean boyband, Seventeen caused a massive traffic jam at the Centre Court, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur when over 5,000 fans (CARATs) surrounded every floor of the shopping mall in February.
Comprising 13 members, the Kpop band is divided into three subunits, each with a different area of specialisation – Hip-Hop Unit by S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon; Vocal Unit by Jeonghan, Joshua, Woozi, DK, Seungkwan, and Performance Unit by Jun, Hoshi, The8 and Dino.
The famous boy group had come to Malaysia before during its South-b East Asia Tour. For this second time around, only 11 of the group were here for The Saem official launch as ambassador of the beauty brand originated in Myung-Dong, South Korea.
Throughout the event, Seventeen captured its fans attention when it performed the cute Harakeke dance. The dance was to promote the Saem hero product line, Urban Eco Harakeke, discovered in New Zealand.
One of the members, Dino, told the CARATs he likes a “pure and clean feeling” while using the Urban Eco Harakeke Cream. The leaves of the harakeke plant are a precious natural resource in the range, and provides deep moisture and a very active calming ingredient which provides intense hydration for healthy looking skin.
Two of the members shared their beauty secrets while juggling a tight schedule: “The first thing that we do after our schedule ends is to cleanse our face fast but still get it clean,” said Mingyu. Seungkwan added: “There are a lot of the Saem cleansing products such as cleansing cream, foam and pads. I enjoy using all of the products.”
“For me, the Saem cleansing cotton pads are convenient to use,” Mingyu shared his thoughts. Apart from the above skincare line, the Saem also carries a few other notable lines namely Urban Eco Waratah (deep hydration and firming), Iceland (refreshing and locks in moisture even to the inner skin layer), See & Saw (for sensitive skin and trouble care) and Mineral Homme (Men skincare line).
The latest Harakeke line price ranges from RM43 to RM93 and is available at PLAY UP Advance Fahrenheit88, PLAY UP Advance Berjaya Times Square and Parkson Elite Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur.
