SHORT-term rates are expected to remain stable today on Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) operations to absorb surplus liquidity from the financial system.
Today’s liquidity is estimated at RM19.80 bil in the conventional system and RM18.76 bil in Islamic funds.
The central bank will conduct two conventional money market tenders worth RM500 mil each for seven days and 14 days.
BNM will also conduct a RM4.2 bil Qard tender for six days to 21 days and a RM890 mil reverse repo tender for 31 days.
It will also conduct a Bank Negara Interbank Bills (BNIB) valued at RM500 mil for issuance on March 10, 2020.
At 4pm, BNM will conduct up to RM19.7 bil for a conventional overnight tender and RM14.5 bil for a Murabahah overnight tender – March 6, 2020, Bernama
