MALAYSIA Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has appointed Datuk Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh as its new group CEO effective March 2.
Shukrie was made the acting CEO on Jan 6 when Raja Azmi Raja Nazuddin abruptly stepped down two years short of his three-year contract, handing the reins over to Shukrie, who was the chief operating officer then.
Raja Azmi joined MAHB on Feb 1, 2016 as chief financial officer before he was promoted to group CEO on Jan 4, 2019.
Prior to joining MAHB, Shukrie held roles in various entities within the DRB-Hicom Group including being entrusted as the CEO of KL Airport Services Sdn Bhd, the aircraft ground handling, cargo, and logistics arm of DRB-Hicom.
He was also the group CEO of Konsortium Logistik Bhd and Pos Malaysia Bhd. Shukrie was AirAsia’s Redbox Logistics CEO and later on as the chief operating officer for AirAsia Malaysia. – March 1, 2020
