Sime Darby Bhd non-executive chairman Datuk Abdul Rahman Ahmad has tendered his resignation today, due to his appointment as the group CEO of CIMB Holdings Bhd, according to an announcement in Bursa Malaysia.
Tan Sri Samsudin Osman, the former chairman of the Employees Provident Fund, has been appointed as interim and acting chairman of the company, according to a Bursa filing. – June 9, 2020
