So what’s brewing inside DAP these days? Netizens offer their 2 sen worth of the bad and good

FOR the better or worse, netizens – supposedly supporters of the party or the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition – are hopeful that DAP is still ‘very alive and kicking’ after a netizen observed that the party with most seats in the unity government has been “really quiet” these days.

By being quiet, according to digital marketer Niresh Kaur (@nireshkaur), is not a good sign for such behaviour is tantamount to being “a slap in all our faces”.

Netizen K Senthil Vaasan (@vaasan_k) fired the first salvo by concurring with Niresh that the “it’s most disappointing” for DAP boasted “the most outstanding principles” during the run-up to the 15th General Election (GE15).

And fireflyyyyyyyyy (@skyflyingace) just had to run salt on the wound so to speak when he remarked that the “pre-election fury speeches are all in the drain”.

Warhammer888 🇲🇾 (@Warhammer8881) is of the view that if DAP is unable to flex its muscle by having won 40 out of 55 seats that it contested, then it is high time “to vote PSM who is very consistent in their approach of raising issues”.

Fortunately, there are those who still keep their faith in DAP intact but on condition that here is room for improvement.

Netizen 🏴🏴 Ken 🏴🏴(@KenTheGreat0) reckoned that DAP “is working more than just politicking” while Hector of Sector 470 (@BigJoe470) felt that “DAP has been blamed for many things unrelated to them”.

While Vijeyndran Ravichadran Ravindaren 🇲🇾(@vijey_vjr) opined that “DAP remains the loudest voice in comparison to others in the mainstream” Kucing Hitam (@techboy_88) noted that “the reality of Malaysian politics really hit them hard in the face”.

At the end of the day, could it be that less talk but more action be DAP’s ultimate motto moving forward? – March 13, 2024
