South Korean eco-friendly toilet turns faeces to digital currency

Students at a South Korean university can now pay for their coffee by using the eco-friendly ‘BeeVi toilet’, which helps power a school building by turning faeces into methane gas.

Those who use the invention at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology can earn digital currency, Ggool, which allows them to buy goods on campus.
