“Stop blaming others for problems you yourself created,” Saifuddin tells Sanusi

HOME Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor should stop blaming others for problems that he himself had created.

“Everyone knows the real issue is Sanusi making up stuff that doesn’t exist. For example, Sanusi alleged that he was not invited to a National Finance Council meeting when the fact is, he did attend it upon invitation,” the PKR secretary-general said to Malaysiakini.

This comes after Sanusi’s “Little Napoleans in the Prime Minister’s Office” comment which saw the PAS leader pointing fingers at certain officers within the PMO for souring his relationship with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Yesterday (April 27) Sanusi had insisted that he had no personal beef with Anwar and recommended him to replace his officers who were reportedly exacerbating the problem.

On this matter, Saifuddin said Sanusi was “rude” to imply such a thing in the first place.

“The prime minister does not need to change his officers. Instead, it is Sanusi who has to mind his decorum when attending meetings that involve the country’s secrets,” he asserted.

“Only then, the relationship between the federal government and state government will be harmonious.” – April 28, 2023
