Sudanese army advances on Khartoum, retakes territory from paramilitary group

Sudan’s army is making strides in its effort to regain control of the capital, Khartoum, as it retakes more territory from the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces.

On Thursday, the army seized a strategic bridge linking the eastern and southern parts of the city. However, the RSF has vowed to continue its resistance.
