KLANG Valley foodies are in for a delicious meaty treat as Tangkak Beef Noodle House opens its latest outlet in Berjaya Times Square.
With almost 50 years of legacy, the brand marks another huge step in its expansion within the Halal restaurant community, offering its iconic beef noodle dish and more to a wide community.
Tangkak Beef Noodle House offers an extensive menu featuring Australian Hereford beef – bred and farmed with the highest animal welfare standards.
Their main Soup All Mix enables customers to have small portions of various meat cut options such as money belly, tendon, stomach mix, and more with their noodles.
In fact, customers can even choose to have their beef with homemade noodles, vermicelli noodles or rice.
The restaurant traces its lineage back to the original Tangkak Beef Noodle established in 1976 by Au Ah Kuang in the small town of Tangkak, Johor.
The establishment was named Restoran Kuang Fei in honour of his father, the original inventor of their Hainanese beef noodle dish with a Malaysian twist.
Decades later, this traditional flavour is still alive and thriving. The franchise has since been adapted to cater to their new, growing customers within the Halal community following the opening of the first Tangkak Beef Noodle House outlet in Tropicana Gardens Mall in 2023.
“We are thrilled to continue and serve our legacy dishes born in Tangkak to more customers here in Kuala Lumpur,” said Tangkak Beef Noodle House director Au Ai Leen.
“Our recipes are our pride and joy and we take several hours of cooking time each day to reach the perfect, authentic taste that is now available for our Halal community.
“We hope that more people will continue to support Tangkak Beef Noodle House and other local restaurants serving authentic Malaysian delicacies.”
The launch event was graced with the arrival of Her Royal Highness Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom.
Other VIPs in attendance included Tan Tee Ming, Executive Director of Berjaya Corporation Berhad, Puan Sri Esther Tan, Tan Sri Faizah, Chairperson of OrphanCARE and Au Ah Kuang, Founder of Tangkak Beef Noodle House.
To further commemorate the occasion, Tangkak Beef Noodle House graciously donated RM10,000 to OrphanCARE.
OrphanCARE is a non-profit organisation focused on caring for orphans and housing unwanted babies. These funds will go towards driving these initiatives for the organisation.
With the grand opening of its Berjaya Times Square outlet, Tangkak Beef Noodle House aims to continue the momentum with expansion across Malaysia. According to Au Ai Leen, she aims to achieve 50 outlets within the next five years.
