In a viral post on X by netizen @, a Thai influencer was reported dead attempting to finish a bottle of liquor. And the price for his life? A measly 30,000 baht.

According to @, the deceased usually did contents revolving around alcohol, such as setting his hair on fire, drinking alcohol quickly, and drinking more alcohol quickly.
So it comes as no surprise that the man would someday kick the bucket due to alcohol poisoning.
Netizens, however, were most unkind towards him, with many mocking him for his foolish action.
The comment section has since being transformed into a maths class to compute the worth of his life.
However, a more detailed examination revealed that the story was not so simple.
The Bangkok Post has since identified him as 21 year old Thanakarn Kanthee, also known as “Bank Leicester.”
Born into poverty, he was raised by his grandmother in a Bangkok slum after his parents separated when he was just two months old.
According to the Bangkok Post, at the age of seven, he began selling garlands at the Liab Duan flea market on Ram Intra road to provide for himself and his grandmother.
It would appear that his untimely death would be as tragic as his life story.
Netizen @ who posted the story added that he was unceremoniously hauled over to the hospital with a trolley.
Apparently the man accepted paid challenges to drink alcohol rapidly in exchange for money. Observing his impoverished background, this is unsurprising and more importantly, deserving of sympathy.
Some netizens claimed Thanakarn once said on his social media posts that he was willing to be bullied and insulted to just get scraps of money from the rich to provide for his family.
To recap, Thanakarn’s fatal challenge came in the form of a whisky which he completed without any difficulty.
