Thai Odyssey bounces back stronger with even more attractive packages

THAI Odyssey, Malaysia’s award-winning, largest authentic Thai massage chain, is ready to welcome back its loyal customers throughout the country.

Stringent measures and attractive packages have been put in place to ensure customers’ safety while they pamper yourselves.

“Thai massage is an ancient therapy that has been practiced for over 2,500 years, and the benefits of this healing technique are backed by scientific research,” shared Thai Odyssey’s managing director Din Tan.

“It can help lower stress, increase our energy level, relieve headaches and joint stiffness, reduces back pain and stimulates blood circulation.”

Some 177 frontliners enjoyed free massages offered by Thai Odyssey in appreciation of their sacrifices and dedication in the first year of the pandemic.

Thai Odyssey also sold its Herbal Pouches, Herbal Poultices (prakop) and massage vouchers as part of Tropicana Corporation Bhd’s charity drive earlier this year.

All Thai Odyssey’s front desk personnel and therapists are fully vaccinated, equipped with PPE (personal protection equipment) and are required to undergo regular COVID-19 self-testing.

Only fully vaccinated guests with low-risk status on their MySejahtera App and temperature reading of 37.5 °C and below are allowed entry. Face masks must be worn and social distancing must be observed at all times.

All treatment rooms are sanitised before and after each use while premises are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected every three hours. Guests who failed to observe SOPs (standard operating procedures) will be refused entry.

“Our range of massage services is excellent value-for-money. We have in-house trainers from Thailand to ensure the quality assurance of traditional Thai massage to be provided by our therapists,” Din pointed out.

“Most of our therapists have between five and 10 years of experience. Thai Odyssey Training Academy was also formed in 2016 as an initiative to provide the highest quality training programmes to the locals in Sabah and is accredited by the Sabah Labour Department with the objective of offering long-term careers to well-qualified local therapists.”

The range of massage services available includes traditional Thai massage, Thai aromatherapy massage, Thai herbal therapy, traditional foot massage, half body massage, body scrub and the Ultimate Thai Odyssey.

Prices range from RM63 for a 30-minute half body massage to RM748 for a 180-minute luxurious spa for couples. Attractive packages are currently available at RM1,000 for singles, RM2,000 for couples and RM3,000 for family.

Established in 2004, Thai Odyssey has grown from its first outlet in Centrepoint, Bandar Utama into a respectable brand with more than 40 outlets in the Klang Valley, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Penang and Sabah. – Nov 9, 2021
