WITH the lifting of the recent interstate travel ban, watch enthusiasts from around the nation will soon be able to witness the set up of a one of a kind Memorigin Boutique at The Sail Melaka.
The first Hong Kong brand to produce tourbillon watches, Memorigin, will be setting up a unique and luxury boutique which incorporates watches, a café and an experiential centre into one space.
Designed by Hong Kong top watchmakers as well as enthusiastic collectors, Memorigin watches are a seamless blend of oriental and western cultures. Creating watches with a distinctly Asian flair coupled with high-quality western watchmaking skills has led Memorigin to be sanctioned by international professionals and watch enthusiasts worldwide.
Sheng Tai International founder and CEO Datuk Leong Sir Ley said they are delighted to partner with Memorigin to open its first and largest boutique in South East Asia.
“Setting up the first Memorigin boutique here at The Sail Melaka will definitely be another feather in Sheng Tai International’s cap,” she enthused.
“This brings us closer to completing our vision for The Sail and its position as Melaka’s central business district as well as a globally iconic building.”
The signing of this licensing agreement brings to light a diversified and transnational cooperation.

Designed to replicate an impressive ship, The Sail Melaka boasts unique facilities such as an approximately 500-metre sky ring connecting the nine towers, a 4,090 sq metre convention and exhibition centre and a 360-degree elliptical-shaped theatre.
The Sail Melaka will definitely be a jewel in the crown for the historical city of Melaka as it also features international sky-themed restaurants, a sky garden and one of the longest rooftop pools in the region.
The one-of-its-kind Memorigin boutique boasts 1,600 sq feet of pure luxury and located at Phase 1, Sales Gallery of The Sail Melaka.
When it completes in 3Q 2021, the boutique will be an iconic development attraction – Dec 7, 2020.
