MINISTER in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economy) Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed has been tested positive for COVID-19 after getting tested yesterday.
In a statement issued by his office, Mustapa underwent testing last night after returning from Kota Bharu yesterday morning.
“The minister has been warded at the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, at 10.30pm for observation and he was reported to be in stable condition.
“The Jeli MP apologises to all for this recent turn of events and urged everyone to pray so that everything will be back to normal,” it said.
It was reported that Mustapa got himself tested on Jan 1 for COVID-19 and the results came in negative at the time. – Jan 10, 2021.
