Ku Li gets COVID-19, receiving treatment at UMMC

VETERAN Umno MP, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, has been tested positive for COVID-19 and is now admitted at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) for treatment and observation.

According to Astro Awani, Tengku Razaleigh is said to be in a stable condition and is not suffering from any health-related complications.

It was said that the former Finance Minister was a close contact to Nenggiri state assemblyman, Ab Aziz Yusoff, who himself was tested positive for the coronavirus recently.

“Tengku Razaleigh got himself screened and was tested positive. He is now in UMMC and in a stable condition,” the report said.

Earlier, the Gua Musang MP’s aide, Lokman Abdul Ghani was also tested positive for COVID-19 and received treatment at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

This week alone, three ministers, Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, Datuk Seri Rina Harun and Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin were tested positive for the virus, prompting former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to call for all Cabinet members to get themselves quarantined and screened. – Jan 14, 2021.
