UMNO enemies getting bolder to slander party with fake ‘surat aku janji’

BARISAN Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has chided the coalition’s enemies for their persistence by spreading the fake surat aku janji (undertaking letters) which were supposedly meant to be signed by UMNO candidates contesting in the 15th General Election (GE15).

“While BN was doing its best to invite the people to restore the country together come GE15, BN’s opponents were busy spreading slander and deception as their campaign material,” the UMNO president lamented in his latest Facebook post.

“They think that BN will act like them to drop court cases involving their leaders soon after the previous election (GE14). This is then followed by oppressing BN leaders who are loyally defending the party or don’t submit or obey to their demands.”

On such note, Zahid accused the BN opponents of being afraid of their own shadows. “They are anxiously overthinking of what they had done, worrying of what goes around comes around,” asserted the Bagan Datuk MP.

“Stop this kind of cheating politics. It might be easy for them to lie and deceive the people with such tactics in the past. But today, Malaysians are a rational society who can easily understand the difference between truth and falsehood. It is not difficult for them to ‘read’ their lies.”

Zahid said this latest slander against BN is a clear and strong evidence of why the people need to reject parties opposing the coalition by making sure that they do not win let alone be allowed to form the government again.

“Do not allow Malaysia to be governed by a government established on the basis of slander and fraud because it is almost certain that the people will also be slandered and lied to again,” he cautioned.

“Many people were lied to with various sweet promises during the GE14. Believe in BN and vote for BN for the sake of Malaysia to regain a government that can truly serve and bring stability and prosperity to the country.” – Nov 3, 2022
