UMNO Kubang Pasu division chief Datuk Aminuddin Omar highlighted the significant role of UMNO and Barisan Nasional (BN) in ensuring political stability and fostering economic growth within the unity government.
He suggested that UMNO/BN’s extensive experience in governance contributes to effective policymaking and maintaining inter-ethnic harmony.
“Political stability is paramount, and the parties in the government understand their respective roles. They know how to act, execute their responsibilities, and ensure the nation’s economy flourishes.
“At the same time, inter-ethnic tensions are avoided, and the public understands the purpose of this government’s formation.
“The Malay, Chinese, Indian, and hundreds of ethnic groups continue to uphold the aspiration of unity, which has been well-formed. They practice tolerance and acceptance of the diversity of the population.
“UMNO/BN ministers have shown excellent performance, playing an active role in prioritising public welfare and national development,” he said according to UMNO Online.
Aminuddin stressed the party’s commitment to strengthening unity, addressing national issues, and ensuring public welfare.
Additionally, he noted UMNO/BN’s proactive approach in offering constructive ideas across various sectors, aligning with Malaysia Madani’s vision of a harmonious, inclusive, and competitive nation.
“UMNO/BN takes proactive steps to contribute constructive ideas and insights to the Unity Government, including in the sectors of economy, education, and administrative reforms, while ensuring that the people’s voices are heard,” he added. – Dec 25, 2024
