PASIR Salak MP Tajuddin Rahman is the new chairman of public transport firm Prasarana Malaysia Bhd.
The Umno man told news portal Malaysiakini that he had received his letter of appointment. Tajuddin will be replacing former Chief Judge of Malaya Tan Sri Zaharah Ibrahim.
This confirms a news report by FocusM on April 29 that he and fellow Umno mate, Padang Terap MP Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid, had been slated for plum jobs in government-linked companies.
Mahdzir was appointed chairman of utilities giant Tenaga Nasional Bhd, effective May 12 for two years. – May 8, 2020
