Uncle Roger seeks to open restaurant and break world record at Pavilion KL come Sept 11

MALAYSIAN comedian Uncle Roger will soon be opening a restaurant at Pavilion KL come Sept 11.

According to Uncle Roger in a video, the restaurant is still under renovation with the menu being finalised.

Rest assured, however, that fried rice will be included and lots, and lots of MSG. Note that the food will also be halal.

“What Jamie Oliver can do, Uncle Roger can do better,” said Uncle Roger, hinting at the high standards of his fried rice.

Previously, Uncle Roger did a video criticising the English celebrity chef’s version of the popular Asian dish egg fried rice. Will Jamie Oliver be making a critique video on Uncle Roger’s new restaurant?

Responding to his video, however, is none other than automotive influencer @paultantk who jokingly said wearing an orange polo shirt will instantly allow the wearer cooking mastery over fried rice.

The comment sections were further littered with words like “fuyooo” and “aiyaaa” in reference to Uncle Roger’s famous catchphrases.

More than just the launch of his restaurant, Uncle Roger seeks to break the Guinness World record by having attendees dress up like him, complete with orange polo shirt, black pants and regular sneakers.

To sweeten the deal, he mentioned that the first 300 people who come dressed up as an Uncle Roger clone will get a discount voucher from his restaurant.

More than that, we forecast the sale of MSG to increase in the coming month in anticipation to the launch of Uncle Roger’s restaurant. – Aug 14, 2024
