X users believe PAS and Bersatu are on a collision course

PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang met with Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin recently but the cosying up seems to have failed to smooth things over between the two.

Reports in the local media state there is a problem between the two leaders who are in the opposition camp, Perikatan Nasional (PN).

It appears the problem (between the two leaders) has not been resolved. While the public has no clue what the burning issue is that has split the two leaders who fought together against Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) in the last general elections, X users are saying it is about political power.

Others are saying it looks like there will be a split between the two parties, with PAS dumping Bersatu soon.

The party of Muhyiddin suffered serious setbacks after six MPs left to offer their support to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Social media user @BoeyDanial stated:

Meanwhile, another user said Bersatu and PAS are no longer on the same wave length, with one attempting to join the unity government.

However, user @AJIBSeo believes the PAS leader now has the confidence that without Bersatu, his party will do well. – Feb 25, 2024
