“You can’t even make Anwar the PM but can still gloat”, Najib mocks Mat Sabu

FORMER prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak ridiculed Parti Amanah Negara president Mohamad Sabu for claiming that Pakatan Harapan could have toppled the Government, if it had wanted to do it.

“Wow, Mat Sabu and Pakatan leaders are so ‘powerful’. They can change the prime minister according to their whims and fancies.

“But as far as I remember, you guys couldn’t even get Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to replace Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

“In fact, not only did you guys got screwed by Mahathir but your entire administration collapsed in the process. Still feeling powerful?” he queried in a Facebook post.

Earlier today, Mohamad Sabu told the Dewan Rakyat that Pakatan could have dislodged the current Government if it had wanted to but chose not to do so out of respect for the memorandum of understanding (MoU).

“The current Government is unstable and the PM has changed a couple of times now. If we wish to, we could unseat the current prime minister but we didn’t as we have signed a MoU.

“Having said that, the prime minister is urged to keep the interest of the people at heart until the next general election,” Free Malaysia Today reported the former defence minister as saying. – April 11, 2022
