“You high on something, Nik Amar?”: Netizens mock over bold claims of resolving M’sia’s woes

THREE days ago, PAS vice president Datuk Nik Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah claimed that his party is the only political group in Malaysia that has a complete roadmap for Malaysia’s future via its “Wawasan Induk Negara Sejahtera” (WINS 2051) blueprint.

The 30-year-old roadmap, he added, would resolve Malaysia’s woes in all aspects, proving that PAS is a forward-thinking party.

“Other parties only have election manifestoes that merely covers five years, inclusive of yearly budgets. They also have the Malaysia Plans which are announced every five years.

“For the record, PAS also has a Green Document on how to spearhead the economy and raise awareness of mature politics. We also focus on ideas such as a technocratic Government and shared prosperity,” the Kelantan Deputy Menteri Besar was reported as saying by Harakah Daily in a forum.

However, netizens were left in stiches over Nik Amar bold claims and mocked the leader on social media.

(My God, what glue are you sniffing, bro? Is it Dunlop?)

Echoing KamiKeadilan’s sentiments, user Sukiman Mohamed asked:

(Hahaha…what’s your plan for Kelantan?)

Netizen Zaidi retorted: “Perbetul Kelantan dulu la.” (Fix Kelantan’s problems first)

In the same forum, Nik Amar defended PAS’ performance in the Federal Government but insisted they could not do much as they only have 18 MPs.

“Some people keep asking us why (we) don’t do this and that. Are we heading the Government? Some quarters expect too much from us especially when it comes to Islamic issues.

“But one must remember that we only have 18 MP seats. If you want us to do more, help us to win more MP seats,” he added.

Fix Kelantan first

On that note, user Ghazari asked Nik Amar whether he could use Kelantan as benchmark to gauge whether PAS would be capable of administering the country.

Netizen Azam remarked:

(You can’t even fix Kelantan’s water problems but want to administer Malaysia. Keep dreaming, clergyman) – June 20, 2022
