Astoundingly, they could be seen overtaking the motorcycles and cars, further gaining speed from the downhill terrain.
To make matters worse, they are not seen wearing any safety protection, be it the all-important helmet or something as simple as a knee or elbow guard.
The only protection they had was the shirt on their body and a modicum of wits in their heads. Even a light collision with a vehicle should be enough to break a bone or two in their body.
Is this earlier behaviour an indication to their evolution in the future into the famed Mat Rempits who terrorise Malaysian roads?
Or perhaps the only reason why they are not riding a motorcycle was because their little legs could not touch the floor at such a tender age.
But observing the many shenanigans of the Mat Rempit in the past, we can say that such hooligans need little reasoning to do something.
According to one netizen, their irresponsible act will not only become a tragedy, but may brew into a far bigger racial problem.
Netizen randy_khoo said these youngsters who were so comfortable breaking the traffic law that they may become criminals when they grow up.
Another netizen voiced his concern, stating that parents should monitor the activities of their children so that any tragedy does not occur. If it does, who will they blame?
Wilson Tham lamented the future of the nation, seeing that these are the younger generation who will become our future leaders.
Although it is obvious that those children are in the wrong, their age needs to be taken into consideration. Parental supervision, or rather the lack of it, is also to blame.
This video is more than just an entertainment piece, but a clear evidence on how youngsters evolve into the Mat Rempit menace.
