Zahid belittles UMNO enemies for embarking on fake surveys to deceive voters

CLAIMING that desperation has pushed its enemies to circulate survey findings with false claims, UMNO president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has urged for police report to be lodged to investigate their creators and distributors.

This come about with the mushrooming of various surveys, of which some are attributable to big names such as Bukit Aman, the Malaysian External Intelligence Organisation (MEIO), National Security Council (MKN) and even the US Embassy and Indonesia Intel.

“If they (the surveys) truly involved foreign countries, then this may affect the national sovereignty,” Zahid, who is also the Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman, penned in his latest Facebook post.

“Usually, if there is a study conducted by national security-related agencies, then their findings will come under the Official Government Act (OSA). The enthusiasm of using national security agencies shows how desperate this particular group is to canvass for votes to the point of deceiving Malaysian voters.”

The Bagan Datuk MP further asserted that the irresponsible quarters must be taught a big lesson by making sure that political parties which are ranked first or second in the so-called surveys are “massively rejected”.

“To the desperate supporters of political parties which have to embark on such methods, please campaign responsibly. Don’t use dirty tactics to deceive voters,” advised Zahid.

“It is enough for our country to be ruled for 22 months with their slogan of manifesto bukan kitab suci (election manifestos are not incontrovertible holy scriptures). Reject non-scriptural manifesto holders. Reject PH and Bersatu en masse,” added Zahid. – Nov 15, 2022
