KUALA LUMPUR, 20 Ogos -- Naib Presiden UMNO Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob dilantik sebagai Perdana Menteri Kesembilan.

Pelantikan itu diperkenan Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Riayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah selaras dengan Perkara 40(2)(a) dan Perkara 43(2)(a) Perlembagaan Persekutuan, selepas mengadakan Perbincangan Khas Raja-raja Melayu selama dua jam di Istana Negara hari ini.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 20 -- UMNO vice-president Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has been appointed as the countrys 9th Prime Minister.

The appointment was consented by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Riayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah in accordance with Article 40(2)(a) and Article 43(2)(a) of the Federal Constitution, after a two-hour discussion with the Malay rulers at Istana Negara today.
