A SHORT clip shared by X user amighul deghaman (@ricxxxkiddo) has gotten tongues wagging among fitness freaks.
The video originally posted by Ikram Muslimin claims that jogging is a massive scam invented by sports apparel companies to sell running shoes.
The presumably PAS uztaz backed his argument by quoting Vishen Lakhiani who made similar claims in a video recently. Lakhiani is the founder of Mindvalley, an education movement, and author of The Code of the Extraordinary Mind.

Both claim that jogging is detrimental to one’s health as the activity over-exerts muscles and limbs among other defects. It was made fashionable by companies like Nike specifically as a marketing tool for its running gear.
However, the Ikram clip goes further by laying the blame squarely at the door of the perennial bogeyman – the Jews.
He repeated the same claim in another video on YouTube which cautions overweight individuals from damaging their legs by engaging in this “harmful activity”.
Ikram further recommended any other form of exercises including brisk walking but not jogging which he deemed as “a Jewish conspiracy to destroy human lives”.
The post by amighul deghaman has already generated 1.1 million views at the time of writing as well as elicited plenty of feedback.
One commenter asked what was Ikram’s credentials to warrant him to make such a claim.
Another suggested that the video would have been “more believable if the narrator isn’t wearing a skullcap or sport a beard”.
One netizen brought up a few pertinent questions which highlighted the loopholes in Ikram’s line of reasoning.
More than a few seized upon the apparent inconsistencies in the kopiah-wearer’s advice.
With more than one saying a 10-minute sprint could be quite exhausting.
Quite a few did not mince their words in expressing what they thought of the narrator’s “advice”. One said that those who talk rot were usually unaware that they are spewing rubbish.
One went even further suggesting that Ikram should not be allowed to procreate.
A few did, however, gave his statements some veracity.
However, it is one thing to claim that jogging was invented to sell shoes. It is quite another to call it a “Jewish-conspiracy”. The overt racism cloaking this video makes it thoroughly unpalatable.
