Staunch Bossku followers going after Jho Low’s blood, want BN to leave Madani gov’t

AS Madani government backers rejoiced over the judgment of Justice Collin Lawrence Sequerah, die-hard supporters of incarcerated former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak are seemingly training their guns on fugitive financier Low Taek Jho or Jho Low whom they regarded as being the chief culprit in their idol’s never-ending misery.

“Now is enough to just arrest Jho Low. He’s the biggest bas*ard. … until now he has yet to be nabbed,” lambasted a commenter on the former 10-term Pekan MP’s Facebook page following a brief media conference by Najib’s lead defence counsel Tan Sri Shafee Abdullah.

Added another Bossku sympathiser: “Until today, Jho Low has yet to be apprehended … as such, all the blame is left squarely on DS Najib’s shoulders … since the wrongdoer can’t be found, the person who knew next to nothing became a victim …”

For the record, the Kuala Lumpur High Court ruled on Wednesday (Oct 30) that the prosecution has succeeded in establishing a prima facie case against Najib over four counts of abuse of power and 21 money laundering charges involving RM2.28 bil in 1MDB funds deposited into his AmBank accounts between February 2011 and December 2014.

A total of 50 witnesses had testified during the prosecution’s case, which went on for 253 hearing days between Aug 28, 2019 and May 30 this year. Sequerah further ordered for the defence stage of Najib’s trial to begin on Dec 2.

Unsurprisingly, some fuming supporters pinned their blame on the judiciary system which failed to ensure a fair trial for Najib.

Some even resorted to seek the Almighty’s intervention “to send calamities to judges, prosecutor and their assistants as well as all those who are in cohort with them to ill-treat Najib”.

This is despite some commenters implying that “there’s nothing surprising with the judgment”, hence the only option being to pray that Najib “will continue to persevere and be strong to face such challenging test”.

This was when one netizen made the clarion call for UMNO to leave the ruling Madani government to show the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition who is more powerful. Surprisingly, some staunch Bossku supporters seconded the idea although some are sceptical if this would work out. – Oct 30, 2024
