Chin Hin re-launches CHART Academy to build a future-ready workforce in the GenAI era

INTEGRATED builder Chin Hin Group Bhd has re-launched its flagship learning institution – the Chin Hin Academy for Reskilling & Transformation (CHART) – as it re-affirms its commitment to future-proofing its workforce in the age of Generative AI.

The re-imagined CHART Academy is designed to empower employees with future-ready skills, thus accelerating Chin Hin’s transformation into a skill-based organisation built on agility, resilience and long-term growth.

This strategic re-positioning reflects the group’s vision to cultivate a workforce that thrives in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

“CHART is our commitment to cultivating leaders who are not only technically proficient but also agile, empathetic and visionary,” commented Chin Hin’s group managing director Datuk Wira Chiau Haw Choon.

“In a world reshaped by AI, leadership must evolve. This academy is a cornerstone of our transformation into a skill-based organisation,”

CHART’s re-launch introduces a dynamic learning ecosystem anchored on three core pillars: (i) People Leadership; (ii) Innovation & Digital Excellence; and (iii) Industry Expertise.

Programmes are now accessible via the Chin Hin Employee SuperApp and Learning Management System (LMS), hence ensuring seamless learning experiences across the establishment.

The launch event at Menara Chin Hin featured an engaging panel session with distinguished speakers:

  • Human Resources Development Corp chief strategy officer Dr Rony Ambrose Gobilee;
  • Aon partner & managing director (Southeast Asia) Rahul Chawla; and
  • Microsoft ASEAN and South Korea employee learning lead Delphine Gunther

The event also featured a CHART Themepark with 14 interactive booths and immersive learning experiences such as a Microsoft AI Copilot Prompt Battle and Design Thinking Mini-Sprint which were conducted by Chin Hin’s learning partners to reinforce CHART’s mission to make learning engaging and impactful.

“Yesterday’s skills cannot carry tomorrow’s workforce. In the GenAI era, we stand on two new legs of transformation – growth mindset and future-ready skillset; in Chin Hin, these are delivered through CHART’s platforms,” asserted Chin Hin’s group chief transformation officer Abel Saw.

“With CHART, we prepare employees not just to stand firmly in change but to stride into the future with confidence.”

At today’s market close (Sept 10), Chin Hin was down 2 sen or 0.88% to RM2.24 with 100,100 shares traded, thus valuing the company at RM7.93 bil. – Sept 10, 2025
