BAD drivers and the city are two things that can never be separated, especially in Malaysia. We love cars but a good number of us are bad at following the traffic rules.
At times the traffic authorities will be there to enforce all the things we learned before getting our driving license. But the long arms of the law are never long enough to enforce it 24/7.
That said, members of the public need to become vigilantes too to ensure law and order. And one driver decided to “educate” another fellow driver about the right of lane in his very unique way as seen in a video.

The offender was seen reversing after an annoyed driver on the opposing side decided not to make way, instead, continuing to move forward to emphasise the point that he or she was in the wrong lane.
Some netizens were either tickled pink by the video while others pointed towards the lack of traffic enforcement.
“Legend has it that Mercedes is still reversing until today,” said @SyazwanSyazwani while @nazifaaamd added that these Mercedes drivers all think the road belongs to them.

But @nazr1e pointed out that people should hate the driver, not the car. Netizen @zikryyazid_ further admired the courageous driver who stood up for himself. He said he always wanted to use his Myvi to harass all these luxury cars since he has nothing to lose.

But living in Malaysia, we can all attest to the fact that such behaviour is not confined to those luxury car drivers. Proton, Subaru, Perodua or Mercedes, they all have their very own drivers from hell who make life hell for others on the road.
As for the brave driver who made the Mercedes reverse all the way back, kudos to you for setting a strong point on sticking to your lane. Entertainment has never been so educational. —Sept 28, 2025
