Social media abuzz after man seen hitting ambulance windscreen

THERE ARE many ways to express frustration in life. Some people take up jogging. Others meditate.

And then there is the gentleman featured in a viral social media video, who appeared to have decided that an ambulance windscreen was the perfect audience for his grievances.

The clip, which has been making the rounds online, shows a man enthusiastically hitting the front windscreen of an ambulance with a stick.

Looking at the video, people are left puzzled since the ambulance is a vehicle used to save lives.

Netizen @mhmmdhsm who posted the video said the Ministry Of Health should identify the person so that they could refuse him treatment in the future.

Many other netizens  quickly filled the comments section with their theories.

According to @DTerawis, the man must be angry because his wife refused copulation last night.

A sharp-sighted @Syairezd2 added that this happened in Sibu, at the area behind Maybank. According to @Syairezd2 this was where he lived once.

Another netizen claimed this was an old video, that the man suffered from mental disorder.

Then there was @nyctophil1aaa claiming that it happened in 2024 and the man was a drug addict.

Away from the comment section, medical personnel already face enough challenges navigating traffic, dealing with emergencies and convincing people that sirens are not merely background music.

The last thing they need is someone treating their vehicle like a punching bag. —June 10, 2026
