AS the Negeri Sembilan election inches closer, the mud slinging continues to grow, turning the political scene into a disgusting quagmire.
Unfulfilled promises are brought up by rivals. Contradictory quotes are used as salvos. Lofty promises are made.
And not forgetting, the Chinese are being crucified yet again to unite the Malays. But some narratives can be worse than others.
Take it from UMNO Rembau Information Chief who was recently caught making a strong statement that DAP is controlling the palace, the state as well as the chief minister of Negeri Sembilan.
Such statements hit directly into the 3R category and may cause racial disharmony, or even worse, violence, if left unchecked.
The video which was shared on Facebook by netizen Jason Yew already received over 1,100 comments and 254 shares, and the numbers are growing.
Netizens, too, have much to say about such dangerous statements.
“DAP holding the palace? This is a heavy accusation. Need to investigate this Mamat,” said Tay Wei Wei who tagged the police in the comment section.
Also, Hafeez Mahsa said this is already 2026 yet people still use DAP as a modal.

Hong Hong Hong further suggested the man be sued.

Then there was Insan Menadah pointed out that it was a modal used to scare the Malays, and that there were no ideas to bring progress to Negeri Sembilan.
Jason Yew even added this hilarious photo comment to explain the situation:

In the brief video, the UMNO Rembau Information Chief did not elaborate on how DAP was controlling the palace or provide any evidence to support his claim.
His words has since drawn the attention of Syahredzan Johan, MP of Bangi who said this claim was excessive.

One can only wonder what other outlandish accusations BN, PAS, or any other members of PN will hurl at DAP as we progress deeper into the Negeri Sembilan election.
Regardless, one thing remains clear. The Chinese always get bashed during elections to “unite” the Malays. If there is no enemy, one must be invented.—July 27, 2026
