EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 58 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 29,349.
“Of the current active cases, 534 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 263 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, COVID-19 cases in the country dropped to 4,543 infections, bringing the cumulative total to 2,510,852
In a tweet, Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced that 7,348 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 2,419,743.
Selangor recorded the highest death toll with 13 deaths, followed by Sarawak (12), Selangor (11) and Perak (7). – Nov 9, 2021.
