EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 8 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 31,985.
“Of the current active cases, 113 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 59 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 5,566 infections, bringing the cumulative total 2,876,324.
In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced that 3,187 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 2,787,187.
Selangor recorded the highest death toll last month with 15 deaths, followed by Klang Valley (15) and Kuala Lumpur (15). – Feb 2, 2022
