THE Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) announced an update regarding the water supply recovery in 463 areas that were affected by the shutdown of the Sungai Semenyih Water Treatment Plant (WTP), following an odour pollution indicent.
As of 12pm today (Sept 1), the water supply recover in 463 affected areas have reached 26%. The percentage of water supply recovery status in the affected regions are as follows:
While the water supply recovery period differs between areas according to the location and distance of consumer’s premise, all 463 area are expected to fully recover at 12am (Sept 3).
According to Air Selangor, alternative water supply assistance will continue to be mobilised to the affected consumers and critical premises during the unscheduled water supply disruption. – Sept 1, 2021
